i like that you used blue as contrast to all of the orangey-yellow tones....very effective. really nice portrait.

Thanks....I'm trying one right now using green and I think it's a mistake because it looks like someone seasick! So--this one may not turn out......:shrug:

Usually because I work on toned paper and it gives me a starting point. The portrait I'm working on right now is on white paper and I'm struggling........shoulda stayed with the toned paper........

Thanks. What I like about Oil Pastel is that you can blend it with a tissue much like you can with graphite!
